Man arrested for dragging woman clinging from his moving vehicle in Boisbriand

A 39-year-old man has been arrested after dragging a woman clinging to his vehicle in Boisbriand overnight
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) reports they were called at around 12:30 a.m. for a person seen clinging to a vehicle on the northbound Highway 13 ramp leading to Highway 640 eastbound.
SQ officers, in collaboration with the Service de police de la Ville de Saint-Eustache, were able to locate the vehicle in a residence where the suspect had taken refuge.
He is being met by investigators.
The ramp of the highway was closed for some time to allow for the investigation.
The 40-year-old victim suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to the SQ.
The relationship between the suspect and victim is unknown.
The investigation is ongoing.
