Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel to see overnight closures over weekend

The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable says Montreal drivers can expect to see delays on the roads over the coming weekend as Highway 25 will be closed.

The Highway will be closed to allow for work to be done on ventilators within the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel.

Starting at 11 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8, Highway 25 toward the South Shore between Exit 4 (Montréal (downtown) / J.-Cartier Bridge) and the entrance from Charron Island will be closed until 8 a.m. Saturday.

The Highway will reopen during the day before closing again at 11 p.m. until 9 a.m. on Sunday.

During this time, Highway 25 toward Montreal between Exit 90 (Aut. 20 West, Route 132, La Prairie / USA, Varennes, Airport P.-E.-Trudeau from Highway 20) and the entrance from Notre-Dame Street East will also be closed.
