Cold sets in for Montreal, before temperatures rise over the weekend

It will be cold Thursday and Friday in Montreal before the temperatures rise above zero – and seasonal norms – over the weekend.

Thursday will be the coldest day of the week, minus 9 degrees, feeling like minus 16 this afternoon with the wind chill.  We should see a mix of sun and clouds.

For Friday, still cold, reaching a high of minus 7, feeling like minus 17 with the wind chill.

The mercury will rise again over the weekend, with temperatures above seasonal normal.

Saturday, it’ll be cloudy with a high of plus 2.

On Sunday, periods of rain and a high of plus 1.

Periods of snow in the forecast for Monday and a high of plus 1.
