Passenger who died in bus crash to New York City was a Montrealer: police

A passenger who died in the major accident involving a bus headed from Montreal to New York City on Jan. 5 is confirmed to be a 74-year-old Montrealer.
New York State Police ID’d the victim late Sunday afternoon.
“The deceased passenger has been identified as Jeanne Elzanie Jourdan Colin, 74, of Montreal, Quebec. The additional passenger that was air [lifted] to Albany Medical Center remains hospitalized in critical condition condition,” say police in a press release.
No further information related to other passengers will be released they add.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
The accident occurred on Friday at around 12:50 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 87, between Warrensburg and Lake George. Ten other people suffered minor injuries after a Skyway Coach Line tour bus crashed – travelling from Montreal to New York City.
Officials in New York had said the majority of the 23 passengers on the bus were Canadian, while at least two were Swiss.
