Wedesday evening, freezing rain could be seen in Montreal with winds of around 19 kilometres an hour.

The temperatures overnight should be steady around minus 4 degrees, feeling like minus 14 with the wind chill.

“Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.”

The affected areas may be the southern portion of the province, from Pontiac and Haut-Gatineau to Montreal, including part of the Laurentians

In the meantime, the weather will be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of flurries throughout the day on Wednesday.
