Mixed precipitation expected for Montreal

Most areas of Quebec will experience a mix of precipitations between snow and rain on Thursday.
The mercury will also be on the rise with temperatures above zero in Southern Quebec.
According to Environment Canada, Montreal will reach plus 3 degrees by afternoon.
The federal agency is forecasting 2 centimetres of snow in western Quebec and north of Montreal, especially in the Laurentians.
The accumulations could reach up to 5 centimetres in the central area of Quebec or Saguenay.
Temperatures will be this mild, but there is a possibility of strong winds with gusts of 40 km/h this afternoon.
Eastern Quebec could receive up to 10 centimeters of snow in certain areas like in the Bas-Saint-Laurent.
For Friday, mainly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of flurries in the morning. Temperature steady near minus 2. Wind chill near minus 8.
