Shooting in Montreal North, no injuries reported

Montreal police responding to a call of a drive-by shooting Monday afternoon.

Multiple gunshots fired around 1:15 p.m. on Prieur, at the intersection near Parc-Georges Ave. in Montreal North.

According to initial reports, shots were exchanged between the occupants of two vehicles.

No injuries have been reported, or victims found.

Montreal police (SPVM) did find bullet casings on the ground.

A perimeter was setup as they investigate.

Around 3:10 p.m. police had located a vehicle with bullet impacts at Industriel and Pie-IX Blvd., and believe it could be related to the incident, according to Véronique Dubuc, spokesperson or the SPVM.
