Man suffers injuries after hit and run in Montreal

A 32-year-old man suffered serious upper body injuries after a hit and run Wednesday in the Ville-Marie district of Montreal.

According to Montreal Police (SPVM), the driver of a black Range Rover allegedly drove into several vehicles, some of which were parked on D’Iberville Street, at the intersection of Logan Street.

After the collisions, the two suspects ran away, and police were still searching for them as of mid-afternoon.

The incident occurred around noon.

According to SPVM, one person suffered injuries, including broken bones, but their life is not considered to be in danger.

Authorities have not revealed whether the luxury vehicle was reported stolen.

A portion of D’Iberville Street was temporarily closed for investigation purposes.
