Montreal truck driver hits Highway 40 overpass

A truck driver hit the overpass structure on Highway 40 in Montreal, near Côte-Vertu Blvd. overnight.

A section of the ramp on the overpass was closed to traffic, which is where the accident occurred.

Transport Quebec (MTQ) inspectors analyzed the damaged overpass and allowed the section to be reopened before the morning rush hour.

The driver suffered no injuries.
