Montreal weather this week: clouds, sun, and possible flurries and rain for upcoming weekend

Gloomy weather will persist in Southern Quebec after a storm of heavy rain and snow passed through the region over the weekend.

According to Environment Canada, periods of light snow will fall in Montreal on Monday, with a high of plus 3 and the wind chill feeling like minus 10.

There will also be strong wind gusts of up to 60km/h.

The weather agency also forecasted up to 5 centimetres of snow in the central area of the province, in Estrie and Beauce for Monday afternoon.

On Tuesday, sun and clouds with a high of plus 9 and steady for Wednesday.

Cloudy and 10 degrees on Thursday, then dipping to 5 on Friday.

A 60 per cent chance of flurries or rain on Saturday and Sunday for St. Patrick’s Day. And highs of plus 6 and 7 degrees.
