Rainy St. Patrick’s Day expected for Montrealers

Get those umbrellas out and keep them handy for Sunday’s St. Patrick’s Day parade.

A low-pressure system will be moving into Quebec with a mix of precipitation causing the mercury levels to drop this weekend.

According to Environment Canada, there will be a few showers ending this morning in Montreal, with cloudy weather in the afternoon.

A high of plus 10 and a low of plus 2, with a 60 per cent chance of the rain this evening.

On Saturday, the cloudy weather will remain with periods of rain at night. High of plus 6 with a low of plus 2.

Sunday – periods of rain, with a high of plus 7 and a low of plus 1.

Average highs for this time of year are around 1.7 degrees.

The wet weather will continue into Monday with plus 3 degrees, but sun and clouds move in as of Tuesday and a high of 2.
