Pedestrian struck in alleged hit and run in Côte Saint-Luc

A pedestrian is in hospital after being hit by a vehicle on Sunday evening in Montreal’s Côte Saint-Luc.

Montreal police (SPVM) received a call around 9 p.m. about a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian that occurred on Cavendish Blvd. at the intersection of Heywood Road.

The victim, aged between 25 and 30, was transported to hospital with injuries to the upper body.

According to the SPVM, after the driver hit the victim, they drove off and fled the scene of the accident.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
