Major weekend road closures for Highways 440 and 15 in Laval

Road users should be aware that highways 440 (Jean-Noël-Lavoie) and 15 (des Laurentides) will be closed to traffic for several days.
Transport Quebec says construction work is needed on the elevated ramp and on the Industriel Blvd. exit.
April 5, 7 and 8, at night
The closures will be:
Highway 440 service road between Bergman Street and Highway 15;
Bergman Street, between the Highway 440 service road and Berlier Street;
Exit no. 22 A-15/Montreal/St Jérôme/Boul. Chomedey from Highway 440, westbound;
The ramp leading from the service road of Highway 15, northbound, to Highway 440, westbound.
April 7 and 8, at night
Complete closure of the ramp leading from Industriel Blvd., northbound to the service road of the A-440 motorway westbound.
April 9 to 11 and April 15 to 18, at night
The following closures include:
The service road of Highway 15, northbound, at Highway 440;
The ramp leading from Highway 440, eastbound, to the Highway 15 service road, northbound;
The ramp leading northbound from the Highway 15 service road to Highway 440 westbound;
Complete closures of Highway 440, westbound, between Highway 19 and René-Laennec Blvd.
Long-term closures
Since April 2, the left lane on the exit ramp no. 24 Industriel Blvd. from Highway 440 westbound has been closed.
Also, since March 11, there has been a closure on the left lane of the service road of Highway 15, northbound, at Highway 440.
During complete closures, road users are invited to follow the detour routes marked on the network.
The Ministry would like to remind drivers that the speed limit in the construction zone is reduced to 80 km/h on the expressways of highways 440 and 15 and to 50 km/h on the service roads.
The work could be postponed, extended, or cancelled due to weather conditions or operational constraints.
Transport Quebec recommends that drivers should prepare for a longer travel time if they’re coming to the area, as congestion is to be expected.
