By News Staff

The City of Longueuil’s boil-water advisory for parts of Saint-Hubert were lifted earlier on Friday and by 2 p.m. the same was done for portions of Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.

On their website, the city writes that, “the results of recent analyses taken on the Longueuil network are compliant to the norms. You no longer need to boil water.”

The mandate started Wednesday night.

It’s recommended that citizens boil their water for at least one minute before drinking it.

However, unboiled hot water can be used to wash dishes, (must be dried thoroughly), to wash clothing and to shower/ take a bath.

Residents can contact the Citizen Service Centre at 311 for information or visit their website.
