SPVM looking for potential sexual assault victims

Montreal police (SPVM) say they are looking for potential sexual assault victims or witnesses related to an ongoing investigation regarding two Montrealers linked to events at a resto-bar.

SPVM says separate incidents allegedly occurred at the Protocole Kinky Lounge restaurant-bar on Sainte-Catherine Street East in the Ville-Marie borough.

During the alleged incidents, one person was sexually assaulted, which resulted in a permanent injury and bodily harm.

On April 11, police took 49-year-old Marc-André Charron and 25-year-old Nadège Rasson Saint-Louis into custody in connection to the assault.

They have both been charged with sexual assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, and assault causing bodily harm, before they were later charged with human trafficking and procuring.

Police believe others may have been assaulted in the same establishment since in opened in October 2023, or elsewhere in Montreal in recent years.

Charron has been described as a man roughly 1.78 m tall and weighs 75 kg. He has blue eyes and greying brown hair.

Police have described Saint-Louis as a woman who is roughly 1.68 m tall, with a pierced septum. She also goes by the nickname Abigaël.
