11 coworkers from Trois-Rivières win $1M lottery

Eleven current and former colleagues in Trois-Rivières are a million dollars richer after winning a Lotto Max draw last week.
The group found out about the winnings after Yves Dupont, who checked the ticket the day after the April 16 draw, called each member one by one.
Dupont started the group with 10 of his colleagues in 2019. While some have since retired or left the workplace for other employment, the lottery group stayed together.
The winning ticket was purchased at a dépanneur in Trois-Rivières.
