Looked like winter in Montreal as colder temperatures return, but warming up for the weekend

On Wednesday, a mix of weather for Montrealers. At times it seemed even winter-like with snow falling. The morning started off with light rain, then turned into heavy showers, until the flurries kicked in.

Temperatures hovering around 1 degree as of 12:30 p.m., with a high of 5 expected.

Environment Canada says it could feel like minus 7 tonight with the windchill.

On Thursday, back to sunshine, but still well below the average of 13 degrees for this time of year – with a high of 9. But they warn, it could feel like minus 8 in the morning as the winds will still be there.

Friday, the sunny skies remain and warmer temperatures – with a high of 15 degrees.

For the weekend, sun and clouds Saturday and a high of 17 – with a 30 per cent chance of showers as well.

Wet weather expected to  continue Sunday with a high of 19.

On Monday, drier and cloudy, but a summer-like 24 degrees and a chance of evening showers.
