Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating after two men were stabbed in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough, in Montreal on Tuesday night.

SPVM received a 911 call around 11:15 p.m. about two people with upper body injuries on Prince-Arthur Street, Saint-Laurent Blvd.

The two victims are 26 and 27 years old, according to officers.

“They were transported to the hospital, and their lives are not considered in danger,” said SPVM spokesperson Julien Lévesque.

Authorities say a conflict between three people degenerated and one of them took out a knife and stabbed the others.

A security perimeter was set up to analyze the scene and the investigation is still ongoing.
