By News Staff

Taking a flight is often a big expense, but what can add to that is the cost of leaving your vehicle parked at the airport. A survey by online casino Spin found Montreal-Trudeau to be the most expensive airport parking among 10 Canadian cities.

The survey, taken at the beginning of April, found that it costs an average of $288 to park your car for seven days at Trudeau airport. The cheapest is $106 in Ottawa and $129 in Quebec City.

Prices were calculated based on the cheapest parking rate for a standard-sized car parked within a 10-minute walk of the terminal.

On the YUL website for parking, a spot within walking distance of the airport was quoted at $36 for 24 hours. A seven-day reservation was between $171 and $360, depending on the spot.

According to the Spin survey, Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport was the second most expensive in Canada at $283 for seven days. In third place, Calgary International Airport at $180.
