Sunny and hot, potential storms on the way for Montreal

Montrealers will experience the hottest day of the year so far on Wednesday – it’ll feel like 37 degrees with the humidity.

The record-high for May 22 was 32.6 degrees in 1977.

The average high for this time of the year is 20 degrees.

According to Environment Canada, there’s a 60 per cent chance of evening showers, with a risk of thunderstorms and a low of 20.

Thursday we’ll see similar weather with a mix of sun and clouds and a 30 per cent chance of rain. A high of 26,28 with the humidex.

The weather agency predicts sunny skies for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

On Friday and Saturday, the high will be 24 degrees.

On Sunday, the high will be 27 degrees with a low of 14.
