Teen caught speeding 140 km/h in 50 zone in Laval: police

An 18-year-old man was allegedly caught driving 90 kilometres above the speed limit on Dagenais Boulevard in Laval, according to police.

Laval police (SPL) say the teenager was speeding at 140 km in a 50 km/h zone on Tuesday.

He was fined $3,053, lost 32 demerit points, and his driver’s licence was suspended for seven days.

The SPL add there were two 18-year-old passengers in the vehicle when it was stopped by police.
