IN PHOTOS: Damaged homes, toppled trees after Montérégie tornado

Environment Canada has confirmed to CityNews on Tuesday that a tornado touched down in Quebec’s Montérégie region Monday afternoon.

Damages to homes could be seen in the Très-Saint-Rédempteur municipality.

The weather agency said the tornado occurred around 5:30 p.m.
