1 dead following multi-vehicle collision on Turcot interchange

Several vehicles were involved in a collision early Sunday morning on the Turcot interchange, resulting in the death of one person.

The accident occurred around 6 a.m. on Autoroute 15 southbound, at the ramp to Exit 136, said the Sûreté du Québec’s spokesperson.

One person died as a result of the collision, which involved multiple vehicles and caused severe damage.

Collision investigation officers were on the scene to shed light on the causes and circumstances of the accident. An investigation was launched by the SQ’s Major Crimes Section.

The highway ramp in the area of the accident has been closed indefinitely.
