Victoria Bridge closed for repairs on Tuesday

The Victoria Bridge was closed Tuesday at 7 a.m. for emergency repair work to fix an aqueduct.

The road closure will affect the Victoria Bridge in both directions between the South-West area and Saint-Lambert.

According to the Transport Ministry, the road is expected to reopen Wednesday, but it’s unknown when the work will be completed.

The MTQ said the CN is responsible for the repair work on the Victoria Bridge. CityNews Montreal reached out for a statement, but has yet to receive a response.
