Projectile impact found at Lasalle establishment, Montreal police investigating

The Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating projectile impacts found in a window at a bar located on Dollard Avenue in Lasalle.

The call was made before 8 a.m. on Sunday where shots were reported fired with at least one bullet casing found on the floor.

No injuries were reported and an investigation was opened. There are currently no suspects.

The SPVM said the exact time of when the shots were fired are unknown as investigators will review surveillance footage and begin door-to-door inquiries to locate potential witnesses.

The SPVM said this isn’t the first time an incident had occurred in the area as there have been prior reports of conflicts. Discussions will be made with the owners to determine a cause.

Dollard Avenue is currently closed southbound from Réjane Street as the investigation will continue.
