The 32nd edition of the Montreal marathon took place this weekend, and on Sunday morning some participants tackled a 42.2-kilometre route.

Last year, 20,000 participants were at the start line for one or more of the Beneva Montreal Marathon races. And some 25,000 were expected this time around.

Races 10 kilometres and shorter happened on Saturday — and runners continued to sweat it out today for the full and half marathons — from Espace 67 located on Île Ste-Hélène to Maisonneuve park.
