Montreal, Quebec City crowned Canada’s top destinations for bachelor and bachelorette parties

Montreal and Quebec City are the top two destinations in Canada for bachelor and bachelorette parties, according to an online analysis of various business listings – including ratings and cost – on two popular travel sites.

The research explored the number and quality of each city’s nightlife, wellness and gambling establishments listed on Tripadvisor. It also examined the affordability of cheap accommodation on Booking.com.

It determined Montreal was the top party city all things considered – with 179 nightlife options (average rating of 4.12 on five); 125 spa and wellness spots (average rating of 4.24 on five); two gambling establishments; and a median hotel room price of $145.

Quebec City came in second and Calgary rounded out the top three. Toronto failed to crack the top-10, ranking 11th, despite having the most nightlife spots in Canada.

The study from Lucky Days looked at 65 Canadian cities with a population of at least 100,000 residents.
