Rebounding into Montreal’s 2024 Jump Fest: ‘Everybody is welcome’

"Everybody is welcome," says Dorina Rigo, founder of Fit Boots during Montreal's 2024 Jump Fest. Over 100 people participated in the event bringing rebound enthusiasts from across the globe under one roof. Pamela Pagano reports.

These will have you jump for joy — literally!

Montrealers and beyond buckled up in “Fit Boots” as instructors from around the globe came together for the city’s 2024 Jump Fest.

“Last week we were in Colombia,” said Dorina Rigo, Founder & CEO, Fit Boots. “This week we are here in Montreal.”

“They feel that they are jumping into the best shape of their life,” said Rigo. “While they are having the best time of their lives.”

After 14 years experience in the industry, Rigo decided to create her own Canadian rebound boots two years ago.

The high intensity workout she says is low impact thanks to the boot design — reducing up to 80 per cent of the impact on one’s joints.

“There are so many people who have bad knees, bad back,” she explained. “And they can’t exercise anymore.”

“This is the perfect solution for them.”

From Romania, Argentina, to Mexico and France — the instructors flew in from across the globe.

“I’m so excited,” said Bruna Garreffa, Founder, Kangoostyle. “It will be the first time that I connect with most of these teachers who are for me, wow.”

And she’s wow too – Montreal’s Garreffa has been teaching with rebound boots for nearly 10 years now.

“It allows me to help so many people,” she said. “I’ve been waiting for this for the longest time.”
