SPVM investigating reported sexual assaults against minors in Montreal

Montreal police say a man is facing charges after allegedly perpetrating acts of a sexual nature against six people, including five minors.

The SPVM says on April 11 around 4:45 p.m., a man allegedly masturbated in front of a minor on board the 165 Côte-des-Neiges bus before following her off the bus, where he then committed sexual touching.

Investigators believe the same suspect was linked to similar events that occurred in different Montreal metro stations, mainly during September.

On Sept. 25, the SPVM arrested 34-year-old Lukasz Bakuniak. He was charged with harassment, incitement to sexual contact and sexual assault.

Investigators have reason to believe there could be other victims. Bakuniak is described as 180 cm tall, weighing around 80 kg, with blue eyes, brown hair and a beard. He speaks English.
