Pedestrian hit by SUV in downtown Montreal

A pedestrian was hit by an SUV in downtown Montreal on Friday morning.

It happened just before 9 a.m. on Rene-Levesque west, near Saint-Mathieu.

When emergency services arrived, they found a man with minor injuries.

He was transported to hospital as a preventative measure, police said – as there is no danger to his life.

Firefighters, an ambulance, and police were on the scene.
