Man in hospital after fight in Pointe-Claire
A 47-year-old man is in hospital after being hit by a blunt object, after a fight broke out in Pointe-Claire on Tuesday night.
Montreal police (SPVM) received a call to 911 around 8:50 p.m. about alleged gunfire heard on Parkdale Ave. near Saint-Louis Ave.
When officers arrived, they located the victim with injuries to the upper body. He was transported to hospital where he remains in stable condition.

“According to initial information, a conflict escelated between several people,” said SPVM spokesperson Caroline Chèvrefils. “The suspect fled on foot before police arrived.”
No arrests have been made.
