Notre-Dame homeless encampment to be dismantled Thursday
The homeless encampment on Notre-Dame Street East in Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve will be dismantled on Thursday.
Transport Quebec posting an eviction notice to all those living in the encampment will.
It states that the area will be thoroughly cleaned on Nov. 21.

It’s reported that over 100 people live in several tents around Viau and Frontenac Street.
The Transport Ministry is asking the unhoused population who live in the encampment to gather their personal belongings and clear the site before Thursday.
All abandoned property will be thrown away during the operation.
