Longueuil Police (SPAL) are asking for the public’s help in locating potential victims of Vancol Psichary – charged with pimping and sexual assault.
As part of an investigation into sexual exploitation that started in January 2022, following a witness coming forward concerning events that allegedly occurred in 2021, SPAL investigators arrested Psichary on Nov. 19 for sexual offences against a minor victim.
Authorities believe the 28-year-old may have committed illegal sexual acts against other victims.
“Currently a resident of Longueuil, the accused may have used social networks to contact a potential victim,” the SPAL said.
Psichary is facing sexual assault, pimping, intimidation and extortion charges among others.
Anyone with information or who believes they may be a victim of the suspect – wishing to speak to Longueuil police’s integrated intervention and support team for people at risk or victims of sexual exploitation – can contact them at 450-463-7192. All calls will be treated confidentially. Reference case: LGM-220104-030.
SPAL’s integrated sexual exploitation team offers follow-up, support and accompaniment to people at risk or victims, as well as to their families, whether or not the person files a complaint.
