Woman dies during robbery in Saint-Anselme; suspect still on the run: SQ
A woman was shot dead during an armed robbery in Saint-Anselme, in the Chaudière-Appalaches region on Thursday night.
According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the suspect entered a store and injured two women, one of whom died, before fleeing on foot.
Emergency services received a call to 911 around 8 p.m., about the incident on Bégin Road.

The first victim, a woman in her 30s, died from her injuries, while the second victim, a woman in her 20s, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made and crime scene technicians were called to analyze the scene.
The investigation has been turned over to the SQ crimes against the person investigation unit.
