Calm before rain & snow returns to Montreal on Tuesday

Monday began on a calm note for Montreal’s weather after a large part of Quebec was swept by a low-pressure system that left significant amounts of rain in its wake last week.
Cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of flurries to start off the work week — with a risk of freezing drizzle.
A high of 3 but feeling more like -11 with the wind chill.
Environment Canada forecasting that rainfall will start again Monday night and end Tuesday morning.
But there is a 30 per cent chance that the precipitation will return throughout the day — seeing a high 3 degrees in the afternoon.
Come Wednesday, periods of snow or rain are forecasted by the weather agency — the mercury set to stay the same at plus 3.

Montrealers will then be welcomed with snow to start the weekend. — a high of -2 degrees on Friday but that’s dropping to -12 on Saturday with 60 per cent chance of flurries.
Sunday seeing sunshine with daytime highs of -13.
