Lotto 6/49 jackpot reaches $50M in Quebec

Quebecers will have a one in 10 chance of winning $50 million in this weeks Lotto 6/49 draw on Dec. 21.

The draw machine only has nine white balls, each worth $1 million, and one gold ball worth $50 million.

“Lotto 6/49 has made many Quebecers happy in 2024. The Gold Ball Jackpot was won here twice this fall: a couple from Capitale-Nationale took home $50,000,000 while a group of six people pocketed $32,000,000 with a ticket purchased in Montérégie.” said Isabelle Jean, Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Lottery Games at Loto-Québec.

The $5 million classic jackpot will also be up for grabs.
