A section of Highway 25 was closed for 5 hours due to a diesel spill in Montreal
A section of Highway 25 northbound was closed for five hours on Sunday morning, at the exit of the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine bridge-tunnel in Montreal due to a diesel spill.
Transports Québec reported that a truck broke down at the location shortly after 7 a.m. and leaked diesel fuel, prompting the closure of the highway section between Notre-Dame Street and Hochelaga Street.
Transports Québec says the road was reopened to traffic around noon.
