Two vehicles damaged in suspected arson in St. Laurent

Two vehicles were damaged after a fire in Montreal’s Saint-Laurent borough early Tuesday morning with one vehicle sustaining minor damages, while the other vehicle being a total loss.

Montreal police received a 911 call just before 3 a.m. about a vehicle on fire in a residential parking lot, located on Côte-Vertu Road near Lebeau Boulevard.

Police say there are no injuries, and no evidence of any incendiary devices was found on site. The cause of the fire currently remains unknown.

No arrests have been made and the file has been transferred to the Montreal police arson squad.
