A 25-year-old man was injured after a stabbing in Montreal’s Saint-Laurent borough Monday evening.
It happened around 5:45 p.m. when Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call about an injured man inside a restaurant on Decarie Boulevard.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries and is in stable but critical condition, according to SPVM spokesperson, Véronique Dubuc.
It’s not yet known what led to the stabbing. No arrests have been made so far.
The incident came not long after a 27-year-old was injured in a possible stabbing in the Plateau-Mont-Royal around 2 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Police say it happened at the corner of Milton Street and du Parc Avenue.
The victim’s life is not in danger and the suspect fled before police arrived.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
