A collision involving a moving vehicle and parked cars left three people injured Monday night in the St-Hubert sector of Longueuil.
A young man in his late 20s was taken to hospital in critical condition, but police later updated his condition to say he was no longer in danger.
According to the spokesperson for Longueuil police (SPAL), François Boucher, the collision took place around 7:50 p.m. near 4545 Montée Saint-Hubert.
“Preliminary findings indicate four people were sitting on board the moving vehicle involved, prior to impacting stationary vehicles,” wrote the SPAL in a Facebook post. “Two other men of the same age group, occupying the same vehicle, were also treated and transported by ambulance to treat various injuries.”
A perimeter was established by officers and Montée Saint-Hubert had been closed to traffic between Normand and Grenier Avenues.
The cause of the collision is not yet known and an investigation is ongoing.
