49-year-old woman arrested for attempted murder in Quebec City

A 49-year-old woman allegedly tried to kill a 25-year-old man in Quebec City overnight. The suspect has been arrested, while the young man’s life is not believed to be in danger.
According to the Quebec City Police (SPVQ), the scene took place around 2:50 a.m. Friday in the Vanier sector.
Initially, police were called to respond to a 25-year-old man with injuries from a blunt object.
“The police and paramedics provided first aid to the man, and he was transported to a hospital where there was no fear for his life,” the SPVQ said in a report of the events.
The suspect was arrested on the scene.
