Armed attack: 47-year-old man in stable condition

Montreal police says a 47-year-old man who was attacked Saturday afternoon inside a Montreal business is now in stable condition.
The incident took place in a business on Notre-Dame Street, near Dickson in the Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough.
The man had been taken to the hospital in critical condition and was confirmed to be stable following surgery.
A 25-year-old was arrested by Montreal police In connection with the incident.
According to initial information, an argument had occurred between several people inside the business, which is when the victim was allegedly assaulted and the suspect had left the premises before police arrived. A security perimeter was set up around the business but has since been taken down.
