Man, 20, dead after being shot in Ahuntsic-Cartierville

A 20-year-old man died after being shot in Ahuntsic-Cartierville on Wednesday night.
Montreal police (SPVM) say that a call was made to 911 around 9 p.m. to report a man lying on the ground near a vehicle on Cousineau Street, near Laurin Street.
Once on scene, paramedics found that the 20-year-old had been hit in the upper body by a firearm projectile.
He was taken to hospital on Wednesday night. His death was later confirmed on Thursday morning.
Investigators were dispatched to determine the causes and circumstances of the attempted murder.
No suspects have been identified as of yet.
It’s the fourth homicide on Montreal police territory so far this year.
