Laval police confirm that a 58-year-old man died on Sunday, crushed by a semi-truck in a yard of a company in Laval.
Officers received a call around 6 a.m. and found a man dead, in the yard of AIM Recyclage Laval, located in the industrial district.
Police were still guarding the scene on Sunday morning.
The case was transferred to Quebec’s workers health and safety board (CNESST). The circumstances of the accident are currently unknown.
This is the second workplace accident to happen at this location in recent years. The previous death occurred in 2021, on the premises that were then occupied by another company.
