Longueuil police looking for potential victims of online luring

By News Staff

Longueuil police (SPAL) are requesting help from the public in identifying potential victims of online luring by Kyle Le Huquet.

The 37-year-old is a Longueuil resident and was arrested on Feb. 27 in the Saint-Hubert area.

He is also known by the following usernames: thebizzoman, bizzo and bizzo8.

He was present on Snapchat and Instagram, among others the SPAL said in a press release.

Le Huquet was arrested following a report of online luring from the United Kingdom via the website cyberaide.ca.

According to the SPAL, during his virtual conversations with his minor victim, Le Huquet exchanged photographs of a sexual nature with her.

The SPAL investigation was launched quickly to identify him and arrest him after Le Huquet told the teenager that he was a teacher at a Longueuil elementary school, information that turned out to be true.

The ongoing investigation shows that the suspect may have lured other victims, as young as 13 years old.

Longueuil police added that he also allegedly communicated with young girls in both French and English, in Quebec and elsewhere around the world.

SPAL asks victims who may have had such exchanges with him, virtually or in person, to contact their investigators at the following number: 450-463-7211.

Le Huquet, who already appeared last week and who remains in custody, will appear again on March 6 at the Longueuil courthouse as part of his bail hearing.
