The crash allegedly happened around 10:50 a.m. at the Lave Auto Pont Viau near the intersection of Laurentides and Concordes Blvd., in the city’s Pont-Viau district.
Police say, a 72-year-old man was waiting in line at the car wash when, for an undisclosed reason, he rear-ended the car in front of him.
The car also collided with the building causing part of the structure to collapse. During the crash, a 50-year-old man was struck and a 38-year-old man, was also hit.
Police say the 50-year-old man was pronounced dead on scene and the 38-year-old man suffered minor injuries.
