Man, 24, dies after armed assault in Boucherville on Montreal’s South Shore

A 24-year-old man has died after he was found with stab wounds to his upper body, following what appears to have been a stabbing that occurred early Thursday morning in Boucherville, on Montreal’s South Shore.
Longueuil Police (SPAL) were called to De Bresolettes street shortly after 6 a.m. to report a young man with multiple lacerations.
The victim was quickly located and taken to hospital for treatment of significant upper body injuries.
Police confirmed Thursday afternoon that he had died of his injuries.

He is not known to police.
A suspect has been arrested. An investigation is ongoing.
