Shots fired at DDO home

A residence in Dollard-des-Ormeaux was targeted by gunfire on Monday night, the same area where a vehicle was set on fire last month.
Montreal police (SPVM) were alerted around 1:20 a.m. by 911 calls reporting shots fired at a home on Papillon Street, near Hyman Street.
Officers dispatched to the scene did not find any victims or suspects, but bullet holes were visible on the garage door of the residence.
According to initial information, the shots were fired from a moving vehicle that fled before the police arrived.
The police canine unit was used to help search for evidence.
Witnesses were interviewed by police. No injuries or arrests have been reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
