Bronco Country Experience brings line dancing and live music to Montreal’s South Shore

Calling all cowboys and cowgirls!

Line dancing is taking over Quebec, and the Bronco Country Experience is joining the trend.

Organized by the Ayer’s Cliff Rodeo team, the event will make its debut on Montreal’s South Shore.

Now in its 12th year, the Ayer’s Cliff Rodeo is much more than just an event in the Eastern Townships; it’s a vibrant celebration of country culture, community, and local pride.

As a non-profit organization, it brings together people of all ages to enjoy horses, country music, and regional products.

Beyond the annual rodeo, the organization also hosts special editions of Bronco Country Experience  throughout the year.

The mission is clear: to deliver a high-quality country event for festival-goers, while also giving back to the Ayer’s Cliff community and boosting tourism in the Eastern Townships.

After four successful editions in Sherbrooke, the Bronco Country Experience  event continues to grow in popularity. As a result, it is now expanding to Montreal’s South Shore, offering even more people the chance to experience line dancing in a professional and festive atmosphere.

Set for April 11 and 12 at Plaza Rive-Sud in La Prairie, the event will feature dance lessons for beginners, a lively music lineup, and friendly competitions for country music enthusiasts.

Deluxe Rodeo Show

On Friday, April 11, the evening will begin with a performance by Deluxe Rodeo, a new country band from Montreal’s South Shore.

Known for its vocal harmonies, the band blends classic and modern country with a touch of rock.

This year marks the first anniversary of their album Genuine. The night will continue with a lively dance party hosted by dance instructors, keeping festival-goers on their feet until 1 a.m.

Dance classes and competitions for all skill levels

On Saturday, April 12, the event will kick off at noon with dance classes for all levels, hosted by five local schools, which will be announced soon.

Following the classes, friendly competitions will take place, open to participants in teams, couples, or solo.

Competitors will have the chance to qualify for the Bronco Grand Final, set for Sherbrooke later this year.

The evening will wrap up with another energetic dance session.
