Not an April Fools joke: Montreal parking restrictions back in effect

The City of Montreal is reminding motorists that parking restrictions for road maintenance are back in effect today, April 1.

These will remain in effect until Dec. 1.

“Public cooperation is helping to accelerate the pace of the major cleanup across some 4,100 km of streets,” the City said in a news release on Tuesday.

About 1,000 employees and 600 pieces of equipment are taking part in this major operation, they explained.
